I really, really hope I can figure out a way to make any of these ideas function on a consistent basis.

I'm thinking that #4 is your best bet b/c its more specific than the others. I also like #2, but you'd need to make it a little more specific--best of cracked.com articles, perhaps? And you'd need to be critical. This would be both an enthusiast and filter-style blog, actually. You'd be pre-surfing cracked.com for your readers. #1,3, and 5 could be good but they are just way too broad right now.
